Mountfield 2040H Garden Lawn Tractor

With a 20hp twin cylinder Briggs & Stratton Intek engine the Mountfield 2040H has ample power to cope with areas of up to 4 acres. It is fitted with Mountfield’s highly efficient 102cm/40” ‘Contra Flo’ cut and collect system. This cutter deck has an electronic engagement and floats over the ground on anti-scalp wheels, it gives a quality of finish and collection that sets the standard for others to follow.

Grass is cut and ejected into the 320 litre capacity collector in one smooth operation. When conditions are suitable, collection of grass clippings can be eliminated by fitting the optional Mulching Kit.

Operator comfort is a high priority and the Mountfield 2040H has a hydrostatic transmission for infinitely variable speed control, an adjustable seat and ergonomically placed controls.

An audible alarm sounds when the grass collector is full, it can be emptied from the driving seat and the alarm resets automatically. Key information is shown in an illuminated diagnostic display on the steering console.

Other lawn care products such as an Aerator Spreader, De-thatcher, Roller or Trailer simply hitch onto the tow bar which is supplied as standard.
